A&E's "Biography" series this week features child stars, and Thursday evening's show will feature the Osmonds, the LDS family singing group that got its start through appearances on "The Andy Williams Show" starting in 1962.

Boedeker says that the "Biography" program on the Osmonds, "Pure & Simple," is "an affectionate recap of the family's progress." The program also reportedly hints at some underlying problems in the family. Donny talks of having a difficult childhood and Jimmy says he parents "never knew what no meant." Other siblings also talk of pressures.

But above all, according to the show, the family stayed together. "We kept our family first," Donny says. "Everything else was secondary."
