BYU has hired Marc Hill for a deputy athletic director role, bringing the longtime Kentucky administrator to Provo, Deseret News reports.

Hill's appointment strengthens BYU's athletic department leadership as the university competes in the Big 12 Conference. His experience at a major SEC program provides expertise in power conference athletics operations.
