Elder Patrick Kearon of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles urged students and others driven by achievement to "slow down and turn more easily and comfortingly to Christ" during a Tuesday devotional at Brigham Young University, Meridian Magazine reported.

Kearon, speaking during BYU Education Week, addressed the tendency to tie self-worth to productivity and encouraged listeners to find peace in stillness and reliance on the Savior. He was accompanied by his wife, Jennifer.
