Kristin Yee, a member of the LDS Relief Society General Presidency who is herself unmarried, encouraged thousands of young single adults to care for one another at the Utah Area YSA Conference, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. Yee shared her own experience as a single member and emphasized community support.

The conference drew thousands for games, concerts, service projects, and religious instruction. Yee's message addressed one of the church's most persistent challenges: supporting single adults in a family-focused culture.
