Latter-day Saint leaders announced plans for 'a worldwide celebration' when the renovated Salt Lake Temple opens for public tours next year, with tickets now available online.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the six-month open house will welcome visitors from around the world to see inside the historic temple before it is rededicated in 2027.

The temple closed in 2019 for seismic retrofitting and interior updates, marking the building's most comprehensive renovation since its 1893 dedication.
