Multiple organizations have filed amicus briefs supporting the Mormon Stories podcast in its trademark infringement lawsuit filed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, East Idaho News reports.

The Church sued Mormon Stories and its founder John Dehlin in 2025, alleging trademark infringement over use of the term "Mormon." The case has drawn attention from religious liberty and First Amendment organizations, which argue the suit threatens free expression and commentary about religion.

Mormon Stories is a long-running podcast featuring interviews with current and former Latter-day Saints discussing faith, doctrine, and Church history.
