The original stars of "The Book of Mormon" will return to Broadway for a special 15th anniversary performance, according to TicketNews.

The musical, created by Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, opened in 2011 and became one of Broadway's most successful shows. The satirical production follows two young Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda.

The anniversary event will reunite the original cast members who created the roles in the show's debut run. "The Book of Mormon" has won nine Tony Awards and continues to run on Broadway and in touring productions worldwide.
