Utah Rep. Blake Moore said Thursday he "absolutely agrees" with Sen. John Curtis' call to investigate Donald Trump Jr.'s wedding after-party that was funded by a Russian oligarch with ties to President Vladimir Putin, the Utah News Dispatch reports.

Moore called the arrangement "maybe one of the most tone-deaf things I've ever seen," saying Trump Jr. should not have accepted money from a Russian with Putin connections. Curtis earlier called for a congressional investigation into the private-island event.

Both Utah Republicans are Latter-day Saints. The story follows reporting that Sen. Curtis said the White House has not responded to his investigation request.
