The Church announced that enrollment of 'friends' of other faiths in seminary and institute programs has nearly doubled over the past two years, reaching more than 85,000 students worldwide. Officials attribute the growth to LDS students inviting friends to attend with them. The programs provide religious education for high school and college-age students.
