Temple Square is introducing new visitor experiences centered on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, according to LDS Living, moving away from pioneer history and institutional narratives.

The updated programming includes redesigned exhibits, new films, and revised guided tours that emphasize New Testament teachings and Christ's resurrection. The changes roll out beginning in fall 2026.

The shift continues the Church's multi-year emphasis on Christ-centered public messaging at visitor centers and historical sites, repositioning how the institution presents itself to non-member visitors.
