The LDS Church delivered a second semitruck load of food to a Grand Blanc, Michigan food bank on September 24, 2026, continuing its expression of gratitude to the community nearly one year after a shooting at a local chapel killed four people. The donation went to FISH, a local food bank serving the area.

The Church previously sent humanitarian aid to Grand Blanc following the August 2025 attack. Church officials said the donation acknowledges the community's support during and after the crisis. The site of the former chapel remains empty, with plans for a new building still under discussion.
