A woman has filed a lawsuit against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints alleging that bishops and stake presidents in the Harrisburg Pennsylvania Stake ignored reports that Donald Stalter sexually abused her and four other children, according to court documents reported by FLOODLIT.

The lawsuit alleges Stalter, a high priest who sat on the stake high council, held a loaded gun to his wife's head multiple times to silence the fifth victim. The complaint states church leaders were informed of abuse involving multiple children but took no action. Stalter has not been convicted; the lawsuit describes allegations and charges. The Church has not publicly responded to the filing.
