The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced open house dates for the Smithfield Utah Temple and groundbreaking ceremonies for temples in La Paz, Bolivia and Cincinnati, Ohio, ABC4 Utah reports. The Smithfield temple will hold its public open house before its dedication later this year.

Additional milestones were announced for temples in Knoxville, Tennessee and internationally. The announcements are part of the Church's ongoing global temple construction and dedication schedule, which includes more than 300 temples operating, under construction or announced worldwide.

Open houses allow the public to tour temple interiors before dedication, after which entry is restricted to church members in good standing.
