A new YouTube video from Holy Land History claims Joseph Smith secretly married at least six teenage girls between 1833 and 1843, two of them just 14 years old, citing names, ages and dates the creator says come from the Church's own published records and scholarship.

The video, titled "The Letter Joseph Smith Begged Them to Burn," was uploaded Thursday and has not yet gained measurable view velocity. The channel focuses on historical analysis of religious figures and movements.

Smith's plural marriages to teenagers are documented in Church-produced sources including the Joseph Smith Papers and Gospel Topics essays, which acknowledge he married women and girls ranging in age from 14 to the mid-50s. The youngest documented wife, Helen Mar Kimball, was 14 at the time of their sealing in 1843. The practice remains one of the most contested aspects of early Church history.
