KUER provided live radio and online coverage of the October 2, 2026, debate between Republican Rep. Celeste Maloy and Democratic challenger Kent Udell in Utah's 3rd Congressional District race. The public radio station broadcast the forum from Utah Tech in St. George starting at 6 p.m.

The debate was the first scheduled matchup between the candidates before November's election. KUER's coverage made the forum accessible to listeners statewide and provided archived video for later viewing.

The station's debate coverage is part of its ongoing election-year commitment to airing candidate forums in Utah's major races.
