Reservations for Salt Lake Temple open house tours open September 1, with the public viewing period scheduled for April through October 2027. ABC4 reports the church announced the ticketing system will allow guests worldwide to reserve tours online.

The temple has been closed since 2019 for seismic upgrades and interior renovation. The six-month open house will allow members and the general public to tour the historic building before it is rededicated for sacred ordinances.

The church expects hundreds of thousands of visitors. Details on tour capacity and length have not been released.
